Fun with Family...

I am of the strict belief that family is of the utmost importance. We don't technically have any family here in Charlotte (although, we have friends that are close enough to call them family) and when we get the chance to spend see our families- it is cherished time.



We had the great fortune to spend a long weekend with a lot of our family over July 4th. Family that Mike hadn't seen in more than 15 years, actually. What a joy it was to get together with his Aunt Joyce, Cousin Jamie and her husband, Nate and their daughter, Esme. They traveled all the way from Alaska... and I feel lucky to have met them and been able to spend time with them. In addition, we were able to spend a lot of time with his grandparents (Great Grandma and Pap) and his parents (Grandma and Grandpa). We don't see nearly enough of them and it was great to relax and spend time with all of them.


Fortunately, we were able to squeeze in a little time with Uncle Greg, Aunt Kier, my mom and dad (Mimi and Papa) and my grandmother (Great Mimi) too. It was some much needed family time with everyone... enjoy the photos!
